Bayless returning? Brandon Jennings thinks so

A blog is an opinion based entity, I do not pretend to have a ‘breaking news’ type of site. Rather, this is a place to voice opinions about the news going on around recruiting which other sites more effectively compile and report.

I will preface this by saying that I, personally, did not hear the bit of commentary about Jerryd Bayless’ future in Arizona. However, there is enough chatter from people that were able to catch Brandon Jennings’ 12 point, 9 assist performance at the McDonald’s All-American game to warrant notice.

Apparently early on in the game, the announcers dropped the commentary saying that Bayless had phoned Jennings and told him that he would be returning to the University of Arizona for his sophomore year.

There is not any history with Bayless telling too many lies – or facts for that matter – as he is only a freshman, however, the source must have been strong enough to drop that fact on a nationally watched broadcast.

So fair warning to take this ‘news’ with a gigantic grain of sand. That being said, what once seemed like a far-fetched dream for Arizona fans (Bayless returning) at least looks like it is a distinct possibility for now.
